How the zinc-content figure is worked out. Teck prints 454,800 tonnes of zinc production for Antamina on a 100% basis for 2025. Teck lists its 22.5% interest as 102 thousand tonnes in a table headed 'Contained in concentrate' (22.5% of 454,800 is 102,330 tonnes, consistent with the 102.3 thousand tonnes Teck prints for its share), so the whole-mine figure is read as zinc contained in concentrate. World mine production of zinc in 2025 was 13,000,000 tonnes (USGS Mineral Commodity Summaries 2026); Peru produced 1,500,000 tonnes.

Status: operating, as of 18 February 2026.
